• The current modes of Sino-foreign partnership programs are as follows:

  Ø2+2 split mode: The first period is a 2-year study at local institutions after Chinese college entrance examination; in the second period of the latter 2 years, students are able to choose either to continue studying at the same local universities or to go to the partner institution overseas to study in the same or similar field.

  Ø3+1 split mode: The first period is a 3-year study at local institutions after Chinese college entrance examination, the second period is a last year study either at local institutions or going abroad to study in the partner institution in the same or similar field.

  Ø4+0 mode: The whole 4-year program will be conducted in China. However, the teaching will be based on a thorough application of the overseas teaching plan and examination method, and the introduction of the original textbooks and lecturers. The education pattern will fully accord with the overseas partner.

  ØMix mode: Initially, the students will enter the 4+0 mode, and then a round of selection will be made after semester commencement, which will separate a group of students to enter 2 + 2 or 3+1 in the future.
